The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amando Vito lands a glancing blow to the side of Nizetic's head.
Nizetic tries to close the distance and clinch but Amando Vito swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Amando Vito! But no joy.
Amando Vito misses with a few strikes there.
Amando Vito defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nizetic.

Nizetic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Amando Vito wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nizetic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Nizetic looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
