The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Swiderek checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Swiderek looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Liddell looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Swiderek!
Swiderek is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Liddell decides to stand back up.

Liddell has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Swiderek wants to break the clinch but can't.
A bit of stalling here from Liddell.
Liddell lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Swiderek paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Liddell - great work!
