The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres misses with an uppercut.
Nice sprawl there from Hurley as Torres shoots in.
Hurley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Torres sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Torres missing with a left hand there. Hurley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Torres walks into a jab.
Hurley fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Torres on the side of the head.

It looks like Henry Torres has been cut.
A head kick misses from Hurley.
Torres feints a jab promting Hurley to slip. Torres then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hurley slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Torres cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Torres walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Torres shoots in but Hurley avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Torres tries to clinch but Hurley is having none of it.

Still in the clinch, Hurley scores with a nice short uppercut.

Torres has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hurley regains guard immediately.
Torres tries to free his leg and advance position but Hurley is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torres trying to control the position from guard on top but Hurley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Torres throws an elbow that misses. Hurley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Torres's guard. Nice move by Hurley!

Torres tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hurley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Torres has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hurley has passed into side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Torres tries to bench press Hurley off him but Hurley keeps the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Torres throws a looping overhand right but Hurley ducks down to avoid it.
Torres misses with the combination.

Hurley gets caught flat footed, as Torres shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Torres postures up in Hurley's guard and throws a big left but Hurley blocks it.
Torres trying to move into half guard but instead Hurley has managed to sweep!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Henry Torres will probably get the nod.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Torres lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Torres takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Torres looks to land a right hand but Hurley moved out of range.
Hurley misses with a body shot.
Torres throwing a counter right hand but Hurley manages to avoid it.
Torres throws a hook to the side of Hurley's head but Hurley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Torres changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hurley tries to avoid it but Torres manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hurley to the ground. Hurley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And Hurley responds with a good body kick, but Torres manages to step out the way in time.
Torres has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hurley.
Hurley lands a slapping body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hurley connects with a solid leg kick.
Hurley connects with a right hand. Torres shakes it off.
Hurley looks to score with a jab to the body but Torres is just out of range.
Hurley ducks under a wild hook from Torres.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Torres takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hurley thuds his shin into the meat of Torres's side.

Hurley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Torres was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hurley.
Hurley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Torres was well out of range. Poor timing from Hurley.

A telegraphed right hand from Hurley misses the target.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Torres crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hurley - the referee stops the clock and Torres gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hurley. Torres manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hurley is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Hurley lands a big head kick that sends Torres tumbling to the mat! Hurley takes a step backwards and waves Torres back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Torres is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hurley ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Torres out cold! The fight is over!
