The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nwamadi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ohmsford keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ohmsford fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nwamadi avoids it really well and circles away.

Nwamadi shoots in looking for a takedown. Ohmsford tries to sprawl out of it but Nwamadi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ohmsford manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nwamadi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Nwamadi dives in and grabs Ohmsford's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ohmsford pushes down on Nwamadi's head and hops out.

That was a close round but I would say that Emmanuel Nwamadi will probably get the nod.

Pal Ohmsford showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nwamadi drives through and clinches with Ohmsford against the cage.
