Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simo Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Umberto Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duran has chosen Hatebreed - Live for this as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silakka throws an overhand right that lands on Duran's shoulder, as Duran tries to avoid the shot.
Duran throws out a counter right but Silakka avoids it with no problem.
Silakka connects with a solid leg kick.
Silakka closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Umberto Duran has been cut.
Silakka misses with a wild body shot.
Duran appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Duran.
A jab from Duran finds it's way through Silakka's defenses.
Silakka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Silakka feints and then cracks Duran's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Duran down.
Duran throws a body shot but no joy.
Duran missing with a left hand there. Silakka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Silakka lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Duran at a distance.
Silakka walks into a straight right hand from Duran.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duran lands a body shot.
Duran tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Silakka.
Good exchange - Duran coming out on top.
Duran misses with a low kick as Silakka jumps back.
Silakka misses the body punch
and Duran counters with a big right hand! Oh Silakka is in trouble here! Duran follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

A relieved looking Umberto Duran thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
