The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molski wants to land a leg kick but Severn is out of range.
Severn appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Molski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Molski winds up and cracks Severn with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Severn looking for submissions off his back.

Severn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Molski pulls his head out easily.
Molski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Severn actively working from the bottom here.
Severn is refusing to be controlled, as Molski sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Severn wants to control but Molski is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Molski winds up and cracks Severn with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Molski moves into full mount! Severn won't be happy about that!
Molski prevents Severn from getting the reversal.
A nice elbow there by Molski.

It looks like Chris Severn has been cut.
Severn tries to hold on but Molski postures up.
Molski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Severn's face.
BOOM! Molski connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Molski avoids the attempt from Severn to control.
Severn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Molski lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Severn is looking to improve his position but Molski isn't that keen on the idea.
Molski lands with some strikes.

That has opened up Chris Severn's cut even more.
Severn tries to lock up and control but Molski gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Molski breaks from Severn's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Severn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The cut above Chris Severn's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Molski cracks Severn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Chris Severn's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Severn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
