Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slim Thug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jitsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thug pinned against the cage. Thug gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Thug misses with a jab to the body

and Jitsu counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Jitsu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jitsu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jitsu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thug dives on top into guard.

Thug not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Thug knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jitsu on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jitsu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thug is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jitsu throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Jitsu looking for a guillotine here but Thug defends easily.

Jitsu has his foot on Thug's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thug works his way back into a safe position though.

Thug controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Jitsu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thug can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jitsu is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Thug rolls with it to try and escape but Jitsu cranks on the arm and Thug is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Jiu Jitsu really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
