The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brophy was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Brophy checks a leg kick nicely.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Brophy is just out of range.
Brophy throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones blocks a head kick by Brophy.
Jones tries to land a leg kick but Brophy saw it coming and moves away.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a body punch but Brophy moves out of range.
Jones swings for the body but Brophy moves out of range.
Brophy looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones misses with a body shot.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brophy.
A head kick misses from Brophy.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.

Brophy lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Brophy takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Krimson Jones has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brophy looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Brophy backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Jones's temple! It sends Jones violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Brophy celebrates and the doctors try to help Jones!
