Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Vurny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaius Julius Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caesar has chosen How do you gauge Caesar? as his entrance music. Gaius Julius Caesar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vurny throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Caesar shoots in looking for a takedown but Vurny manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Caesar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vurny attempts a counter takedown but Caesar avoids it well and moves away.
Vurny gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Caesar gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Caesar misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A right handed body shot lands from Caesar.
Caesar lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Vurny prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Caesar tries to throw a body punch but Vurny avoids it by throwing Caesar back against the cage.

Caesar throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Caesar cracks Vurny with a big right hand but Vurny just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Caesar tries to score with some ground and pound. Vurny controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Vurny is looking for a sweep.
Caesar wants to control for a moment but Vurny uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Caesar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Vurny holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Caesar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Caesar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vurny does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Vurny is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Caesar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Caesar's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Vurny's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Vurny doesn't have the hooks in and Caesar manages to turn into his guard.

Vurny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Vurny manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Caesar manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Caesar seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Caesar is trying to control the position but Vurny postures up.
Vurny wants to control from the top but Caesar keeps moving.

Vurny throws an elbow but Caesar slips to the side and avoids it well.

Vurny is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Caesar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vurny.
Well, if Vurny is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Vurny is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Caesar is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
