The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Gaffney or perhaps it was just good defense by Martin, which made it look bad.
Gaffney shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Martin as he jumps to the side.
Gaffney shoots for a double leg takedown but Martin sprawls well. He's pushed Gaffney's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dusty Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamish Gaffney.

Martin cracks Gaffney with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gaffney tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Martin pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gaffney is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
