Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Black Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Black Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Frazier!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Jack lands an impressive looking overhand right. Frazier doesn't seem phased though.
Nice uppercut lands for Jack. That snapped Frazier's head back.
Jack looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Frazier is fending him off so far but Jack persists. Nope, Frazier circles away and we're back to standing.
Jack misses with an uppercut

and Frazier counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Frazier trying to control but Jack is working from the bottom.
Frazier working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jack's head.
Frazier lands a couple of digs.

Jack looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Jack is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Frazier defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jack working for a triangle but Frazier defends it easily.
Frazier works over Jack with some ground and pound from guard.
Frazier must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Frazier slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jack is looking for a triangle but Frazier pushes his legs off easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Frazier's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Frazier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jack has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frazier has managed to get both his arms back between Jack's legs - danger averted.
Frazier content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Frazier is working Jack over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Frazier cracks Jack with a solid left hand.
Frazier seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jack looking for a guillotine here but Frazier defends easily.
Frazier is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jack has his foot on Frazier's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Frazier works his way back into a safe position though.

Frazier stays in close to Jack's body and controls the position.

Jack looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Jack working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Frazier has passed into half guard!

Jack has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Frazier escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Frazier!

Jack is not content to let Frazier control the position.

You can see the frustration on Jack's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jack manages to work his way to half guard, despite Frazier's best efforts.

Jack is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Frazier pulls his head out easily.
Jack wants to get back to full guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Frazier connects with a nice short shot to Jack's temple.
Frazier takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Well, if Frazier is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack is desperately trying to improve his position but Frazier has a good base and remains in mount.
Frazier has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jack's face.

Jack is in a horrible position here. Frazier smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Frazier unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jack wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Frazier celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Frazier!
