Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Engelbreckt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Maverick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maverick lands with a thumping leg kick.
Maverick has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Engelbreckt is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Both fighters circling a little - Maverick finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Maverick thuds his shin into the meat of Engelbreckt's side.

Maverick dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Engelbreckt. That did some damage!
Maverick tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Engelbreckt swivels and escapes.

Engelbreckt has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Maverick clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Maverick crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Engelbreckt - the referee stops the clock and Maverick gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Engelbreckt. Maverick manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
