Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gary Ridgway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seto Takiama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seto Takiama is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ridgway changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Takiama looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ridgway cracks Takiama with a big right hand but Takiama just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Takiama is looking for a sweep.

Ridgway scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Takiama to see if he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Takiama's face as Ridgway controls the position.
Ridgway lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Takiama down.

Ridgway has hold of Takiama's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Takiama tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ridgway cranks the arm and Takiama screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Takiama, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
