McColgan comes to the cage accompanied by The Gael. Boromir has chosen Pippin's Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

McColgan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Boromir sprawling to the canvas! Boromir rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McColgan finish him?!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McColgan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boromir has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It seemed like Boromir was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
It looks like McColgan has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

McColgan lands a big uppercut and Boromir crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Boromir looks OK. McColgan waves Boromir back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McColgan finds Boromir's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Boromir flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. McColgan lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Boromir will be OK.
