The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayfield fails with an attempt to clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Price 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mayfield misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Price feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Price digs a good hook to Mayfield's body.

Mayfield scores with a takedown into Price's guard.
Price looking for a sweep. Not yet Price, not yet.
Price controlling the position.
Price looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mayfield is one step ahead there.
Mayfield postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mayfield drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mayfield avoids the body shot from Price.
Mayfield walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mayfield has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Price.
Price seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mayfield connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A swing and a miss from Price.
Price lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mayfield's sensitive parts.
Mayfield takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Price fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mayfield has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mayfield defending well as Price loads up on a big left hand.
Ozzie Price is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mayfield closes the distance and clinches up with Price, looking for a takedown. Mayfield pushes Price against the cage but Price circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Price's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mayfield connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Price scrambles back to his feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Price misses the target.
Price lands a body shot.
Price throws a head kick that misses.
Mayfield tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Price manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mayfield displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Price throws out the jab.
Mayfield throws a wild body kick that Price sees coming a mile off.
Price throwing a counter right hand but Mayfield manages to avoid it.
Price throws a nice inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ozzie Price will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Price throws a monster overhand right that drops Mayfield! Price follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Ozzie Price thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
