Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roland Clements (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jye Bethune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roland Clements!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jye Bethune!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Francis DeMontford and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bethune has a takedown stuffed.
Clements wants to clinch.
Bethune shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clements as he avoids it easily.
Clements appears to be looking for a big counter.
Clements changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bethune tries to avoid it but Clements manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bethune to the ground. Bethune escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bethune dives in for a single leg takedown but Clements sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Clements was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Jye Bethune showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bethune lands a left and a right that send Clements crashing to the mat, dazed. Bethune thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Roland Clements has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bethune looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Bethune backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Clements's temple! It sends Clements violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Bethune celebrates and the doctors try to help Clements!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Jye Bethune!
