Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sambo Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafinha Capoeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capoeira has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rambo finds it's way round the side to connect with Capoeira's head.
Rafinha Capoeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Capoeira takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Capoeira throws a hook but Rambo avoids it easily.

Capoeira moves into the clinch successfully.

We've been hearing reports that Rambo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Capoeira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Capoeira lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Capoeira dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rambo. That did some damage!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rambo connects with a nice short shot to Capoeira's temple.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Capoeira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rambo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
