Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ska Asap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chin Checker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chin Checker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Checker works Asap's body with a nice hook.
Checker misses with a double jab.
Asap changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Asap drops his hands momentarily and Checker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Asap shoots in looking for a takedown but Checker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Asap's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Asap walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Asap throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Checker's waist but Checker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Asap off to one side.
Checker changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Checker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Checker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Asap is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Asap tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Checker defends well and Asap ends up having to push Checker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Checker wants to counter the offense by Asap and move into the clinch position.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ska Asap. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Checker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A combination from Checker does no damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Checker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Checker connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Asap to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Checker!

After the fight, Chin Checker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
