Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasi Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zakk Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wylde has chosen A Song For You by Zack Wylde as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Zakk Wylde enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wylde throws a sloppy head kick and Kukko moves out of range easily.
Wylde looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lasi Kukko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kukko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kukko looks to land a combination but Wylde avoids it well.
Kukko checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kukko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wylde.
Wylde ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kukko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wylde was well out of range. Poor timing from Kukko.

Kukko throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wylde tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kukko is in Wylde's guard.

Wylde can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kukko controls the pace.

Kukko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kukko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wylde has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kukko has managed to get both his arms back between Wylde's legs - danger averted.
Wylde wants to control but Kukko passes easily into half guard.

Wylde felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
