Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Graveyard Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Pae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghost comes to the cage accompanied by Howlin Wolf- Smokestack Lightening. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pae lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Ghost counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ghost stops Pae from standing up.

Pae wants to get back to his feet but Ghost is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ghost trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pae told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ghost accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ghost forces his way into half guard.

Ghost throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ghost has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ghost tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pae knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Ghost takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Pae is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ghost is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pae doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ghost.

Ghost moves nicely into side control.
Pae tries to buck Ghost off but Ghost is having none of it.

Pae takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Pae has one of Ghost's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Pae dodges the ground and pound from Ghost.

Ghost swings around for an armbar but Pae sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ghost's guard.

Ghost is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pae would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Pae wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ghost's closed guard. He's half up but Ghost has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ghost pivots and extends the arm, Pae falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ghost! Well done that man!
