Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddie Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Tickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rivera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Chemical Romance - I'm Not Okay (I Promise). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tickel slips a jab from Rivera.

Rivera misses with an uppercut. Tickel saw that one coming.
Tickel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rivera napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rivera tries to buck Tickel off but Tickel is having none of it.
Tickel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've been hearing good reports from Rivera's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Buddie Rivera.
