Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, RJ Cherubim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chin Checker!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherubim shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Cherubim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Checker! But no joy.
Cherubim throws a leg kick which misses Checker's front leg but catches the back leg as Checker tries to avoid it.
Cherubim on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Checker misses with a few strikes there.
Checker scores with a jab.
It looks like RJ Cherubim has been cut.
Checker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cherubim throws a low kick but Checker moves out of range easily.
Cherubim connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Cherubim misses with a head kick.
Cherubim tries for a takedown but Checker circles away easily
and Checker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Checker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Checker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Checker lands a nice hook to Cherubim's body. Cherubim takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cherubim takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cherubim is breathing heavily.
Checker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cherubim's head backwards.
Cherubim is rocked!
Checker throws an overhand right that drops Cherubim like a sack of potatoes! Checker dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chin Checker!
Chin Checker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
