With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Rogers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Holland counters with a leg kick.
We've been told by Holland's head coaches at VENDETTA Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Holland tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rogers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rogers shoots in for a takedown but Holland shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rogers's corner calls for a 1-2. Rogers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Rogers manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Holland on his heels. He'll look to pass Holland's guard now, I'm sure.

Rogers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rogers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Holland pushes Rogers away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rogers gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Holland lands a left and a right that send Rogers crashing to the mat, dazed. Holland thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holland throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Rogers's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Holland dives in looking to finish as Rogers flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Holland's strikes! Holland is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Rogers's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Rogers was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Holland!
A relieved looking Andrew Holland thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
