Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jer Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bear has chosen Good Times as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jer Bear will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyd is staying active underneath Bear, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bear is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Boyd manages to get to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bear accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Boyd looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bear keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Boyd's head.

Bear drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bear jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bear clinches up with Boyd and pushes him back against the cage.

Jer Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bear has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
