The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorrowe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Minor to the mat! Minor manages to get full guard.
Minor is looking for a triangle here but Sorrowe uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Minor tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Minor wants to control but Sorrowe postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sorrowe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at HARRY'S in the buildup to the fight.
Sorrowe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Minor, pushing him back against the cage.
Minor tries for a takedown but Sorrowe manages to get underhooks.

Sorrowe lands a damaging elbow.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sorrowe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Minor is looking to control Sorrowe's arms but Sorrowe gets an underhook and turns him. Now Minor has his back to the cage.

Whack! Sorrowe lands a heavy head kick that drops Minor. The ref tackles Sorrowe to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Minor was done.
