Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Roofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Risto Korpisuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roofer comes into the arena with Jonesmann Feat. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korpisuo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Roofer throws a leg kick but Korpisuo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Korpisuo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Korpisuo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Roofer throws a head kick that half lands.

Roofer clinches up against the cage.

Roofer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Korpisuo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Korpisuo throws a right hand that Roofer ducks under and follows up with a left that Roofer also avoids with ease.

Roofer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Korpisuo's sensitive parts.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Korpisuo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Roofer circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Korpisuo drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Roofer follows Korpisuo to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
