Laprise stuffs the takedown.
Riley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Riley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laprise as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Riley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Riley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Laprise to the ground. Riley is now in Laprise's guard.
Laprise is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Riley is aware though and is defending well.

Laprise looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Riley is defending well. Laprise quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Riley has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Laprise celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
