The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nada lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Demaestri backs up against the cage.
A bone on bone clash there as Demaestri blocks the leg kick.
Demaestri throws a shot from downtown. Nada moves away and avoids it.
Nada tries to move into range but Demaestri moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Demaestri drops Nada with a right and a left! Demaestri comes rushing in but Nada regains his composure and manages to keep Demaestri in guard.

Nada is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Demaestri might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nada haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Demaestri drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nada manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Demaestri has Nada in his guard.

Nada is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Demaestri is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Demaestri tries to buck Nada off but Nada is having none of it.
Demaestri is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nada has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Nada feints and as Demaestri raises his hands in defense, Nada changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nada is nestled in close to Demaestri, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Nada lands a big elbow - Demaestri is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Nada!
