Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Winston McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Olov Hermansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCall comes to the cage accompanied by Parkway Drive - Sleepwalker. Hermansson has chosen Rammstein - Ich Will! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall lands a nice shot to the body.

Hermansson gets a double leg takedown into McCall's guard.
McCall not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McCall wants to sweep here but Hermansson controlling him for the moment.
McCall is trying to control the position from the bottom.

McCall is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hermansson is aware though and is defending well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hermansson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCall looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've been hearing good reports from McCall's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
McCall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hermansson connects with a couple of short punches.
Hermansson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McCall looking for a guillotine here but Hermansson defends easily.
Hermansson wants to control from the top but McCall keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hermansson stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and McCall has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Hermansson manages to get his head free but now McCall has transitioned to an armbar! Hermansson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from McCall! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
