Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Udo Hitzlsperger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Neck of the Woods. Mike Ross had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hitzlsperger. That did some damage!

The fighters circle momentarily. Ross darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That kick from Hitzlsperger tenderised Ross's leg. Ross is trying to keep his angry face on.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ross lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hitzlsperger has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hitzlsperger and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ross might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Ross will probably get the nod.
