Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Wolek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Acelino Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolek kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DMX - Ruff Ryders anthem. Lukasz Wolek has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolek swings widly with a right hand
and Silva counters with a straight right hand.

and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lukasz Wolek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I was talking to Wolek's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Wolek keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Silva 's efforts to push away.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Silva just misses with a elbow thrown towards Wolek's brow.

Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Wolek uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Wolek fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Silva square on the jaw! Damn, Silva is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
