The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bag swings for the body but De Leeuw moves out of range.
Bag keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Bag quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bag. De Leeuw does a little dance to reset his feet.

And Bag counters with a quick kick to the body but De Leeuw blocks it.

De Leeuw lands with a kick to the ribs.
Bag swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
De Leeuw sizes up Bag with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
De Leeuw 's coach down at North Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on De Leeuw 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
De Leeuw throws the kick towards the body but Bag avoids it.

De Leeuw lands with an uppercut that bounces Bag off the cage and back into range.
De Leeuw dips to his left and cracks Bag with an uppercut!
De Leeuw throws a leg kick which misses Bag's front leg but catches the back leg as Bag tries to avoid it.
De Leeuw misses with a wild combination.
Bag is looking to score with low kicks.
De Leeuw avoids the head kick by Bag.
A little jabbing left from De Leeuw on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bag is looking to clinch.
De Leeuw shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bag eats them both and turns towards De Leeuw to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bag lands the left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bag is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

De Leeuw works the jab nicely.

Bag has De Leeuw pressed against the cage, preventing De Leeuw from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bag lands an elbow inside.
Bag tries to land knees in the clinch but De Leeuw avoids the damage to the body.
Bag lands a shoulder strike.

Bag misses with a punch on the inside.
De Leeuw is still on wobbly legs! Can Bag finish him?

Bag comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
De Leeuw is pressed against the cage. Bag pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts De Leeuw ! Two more big strikes from Bag and De Leeuw crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
