Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Boshtok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boshtok comes to the cage accompanied by Jump Around M*thaf*cka. McCracken comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rebels Song - Come out and Fight kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McCracken!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCracken misses with a shot to the body
and Boshtok counters with a straight right hand.
McCracken tries a low kick but Boshtok avoids it.
Boshtok misses with a body kick.
Boshtok throws a leg kick that misses.
Boshtok throws a shot from downtown. McCracken moves away and avoids it.
McCracken connects with a body shot that sends Boshtok's belly button to the back.

McCracken tries to land a leg kick but Boshtok saw it coming and moves away.

McCracken with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Boshtok to score with a decent uppercut.

We've been hearing good reports from Boshtok's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

McCracken had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boshtok defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boshtok is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McCracken.
McCracken is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Boshtok rather than just go for the knockout.
McCracken shoots for a double leg takedown but Boshtok sprawls well. He's pushed McCracken's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Boshtok is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCracken's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCracken's back!

You can see the frustration on McCracken's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
McCracken felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Boshtok is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McCracken can do to turn this around?
