Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gray Vick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vick darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Shamrock pushes Vick off looking to stand but Vick dives back in and keeps control.

Vick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shamrock paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vick feints and then cracks Shamrock's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shamrock down.

Vick closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vick lands in his opponent's guard.

Vick had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shamrock defends it easily.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Shamrock takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Shamrock tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Vick lands with a hook. Shamrock tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Vick tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shamrock defends well and Vick ends up having to push Shamrock into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Vick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Vick lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shamrock has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shamrock and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A lazy left from Vick finds it's target.
Vick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vick fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Shamrock throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Gray Vick has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Shamrock.

The fighters circle momentarily. Shamrock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Shamrock throws a push kick but Vick slaps the foot to one side.

and Shamrock counters with a low kick, right behind Vick 's knee.

Well Vick has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
