Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Sherbotsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unit Fourteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonathan Sherbotsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Unit Fourteen!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fourteen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sherbotsky on his heels. He'll look to pass Sherbotsky's guard now, I'm sure.
Fourteen wanted to stand there but Sherbotsky had control of the position.
Fourteen stays in close to Sherbotsky's body and controls the position.
Fourteen throwing strikes from guard but Sherbotsky blocks nicely.

Sherbotsky had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fourteen defends it easily.
Sherbotsky wants to sweep here but Fourteen controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fourteen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sherbotsky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fourteen is looking to work some ground and pound but Sherbotsky has wrist control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sherbotsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fourteen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fourteen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sherbotsky is proving hard to escape from.
Fourteen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sherbotsky manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fourteen manages to get himself to full guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sherbotsky is working Fourteen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Jonathan Sherbotsky will probably get the nod.

Jonathan Sherbotsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Unit Fourteen.

Fourteen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fourteen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sherbotsky sprawls well initially but Fourteen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fourteen in particular looking to stall.

Unit Fourteen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Fourteen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fourteen lands in his opponent's guard.
Fourteen wants to pass the guard but Sherbotsky is keeping the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sherbotsky is on top in guard.

Sherbotsky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sherbotsky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fourteen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sherbotsky asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Sherbotsky is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Sherbotsky!
