Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Squid Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cinderella Man. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Squid Ward was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ward gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Steele to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Steele wants to pass the guard but Ward is keeping the position.
Steele pushes down on Ward's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Steele passes the guard and advances to mount!

Steele is working for a guillotine from mount but Ward frees his head quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Steele is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Ward is forced to tap! Great finish!
