Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kesigan St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Palmer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sans Pression - Numero 1. The crowd seem to be enjoying St Pierre's choice of entrance music: hit him with a left. Kesigan St Pierre will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre blocks a head kick by Palmer.

Palmer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. St Pierre did well to prevent Palmer getting side control.

St Pierre is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Palmer pulls his head out easily.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
St Pierre is looking to improve his position.
Palmer is looking to advance position but St Pierre won't allow it.

St Pierre looking for subs from the bottom but Palmer mounts him!

Palmer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. St Pierre can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
St Pierre really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

St Pierre tries to hold on but Palmer pushes him away.

Palmer quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Palmer but it's paid off an St Pierre is forced to tap! Nice work by Palmer.
