The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Glorious as he avoids it easily.
Glorious lands a nice shot that snaps Maeda's head back.
Glorious catches Maeda with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Maeda shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maeda showed some decent athleticism there.

Glorious wants to control but Maeda is keeping busy.
Maeda throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Glorious holds on and takes a little breather.

Maeda sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Glorious's guard.

Glorious throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Maeda.
Maeda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Glorious throws out the jab.
Glorious throws a body punch but Maeda moves out of range.
Maeda is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Glorious can do to turn this around?

Maeda closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Glorious's guard.
Maeda is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Glorious is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Maeda throws a strike but Glorious rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Mitsuyo Maeda opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
