Capriotti's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Immigrant Song - Karen O (feat. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross). Nikolay Capriotti is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kim!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capriotti throws a leg kick that misses.

I was talking to Capriotti's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Capriotti wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kim, who protects the arm well.

Capriotti is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kim defends it well.

Capriotti is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Kim as he works his way to full guard.
Capriotti postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Capriotti steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kim. That one must have hurt.
Capriotti is looking to clinch.

Capriotti waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kim.
Kim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kim goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Capriotti has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kim but great work by Capriotti.

I would just about give that final round to Roberto Kim.
I think Kim has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Roberto Kim made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Nikolay Capriotti stepped up to the mic, saying 'This doesn't make sense. How could I've lost so many fights in my career? I don't get it. I'll bounce back.'.
