Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maubee Away!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Away blocks a head kick by Fayth.
A nice combination there by Away.
It looks like Ray Fayth has been cut.
Fayth looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fayth looking to score a takedown here. Away is defending well but Fayth drives through and ends up in Away's guard.
Away looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fayth sitting in guard here, content to control.
Fayth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Away swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Away is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Fayth tries to free his leg and advance position but Away is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Away controls Fayth momentarily but Fayth frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Fayth has a takedown stuffed.
Away swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Away misses with a wild body shot.
Fayth throws a head kick but Away moves out of range.
Fayth throws a low kick but Away moves out of range easily.
Fayth lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Away closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fayth quickly recovers to half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Fayth's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Fayth is looking for a sweep. Away is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Away is trying for a kimura here. Fayth looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Away wins by kimura!
