Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao comes to the cage accompanied by Work Hard, Play Hard. Cabreros has chosen Love is what i got as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cabreros.
Cabreros scores with a shot to the body.
Brandao takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Cabreros throws a solid leg kick but Brandao takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cabreros.
We've been told by Brandao's head coaches at THC playhouse that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Brandao tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cabreros was well out of range. Poor timing from Brandao.
Cabreros lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Brandao jabs Cabreros right on the nose. Cabreros blinks but takes it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cabreros wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cabreros manages to break the clinch.
Cabreros cracks Brandao with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Brandao sends Cabreros crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Brandao is motioning to the referee to let Cabreros up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Cabreros is rocked!
Brandao throws a jab but it's blocked by Cabreros.
Cabreros is still on wobbly legs! Can Brandao finish him?
Cabreros throws a body punch but Brandao moves out of range.
Cabreros seems to have recovered his senses.
Brandao scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Brandao throws a shot to the body.
Brandao feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cabreros sprawling to the canvas! Cabreros rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brandao finish him?!
Nice jab there from Cabreros.

A looping hook to the body misses from Brandao. Cabreros does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cabreros glances at the clock... BAM! Brandao nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Cabreros crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Cabreros is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jose Brandao!
Jose Brandao gave a mention to Affordable Quality + Reliable Laundry in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
