Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Golden. Nathan Cortez had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a hook but Cortez blocks it.
Cortez connects with a crisp jab.
Gracie tries to clinch there but Cortez circles away.
Cortez avoids the body shot from Gracie.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cortez to the mat! Cortez manages to get full guard.

Cortez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Cortez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cortez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gracie rolls with it to try and escape but Cortez cranks on the arm and Gracie is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
