Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geronimo Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leboj Jedan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jedan misses with a series of wild punches.
Martinez misses with a head kick.
Martinez throws a head kick but Jedan moves out of range.
Jedan lands a nice looking body shot.
Jedan shoots in but Martinez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jedan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jedan.
Jedan connects with a right hand. Martinez shakes it off.
Martinez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Martinez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jedan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jedan throws a looping overhand right but Martinez ducks down to avoid it.
Martinez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Jedan scores with a hook to the body. Martinez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Jedan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Martinez but Martinez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Martinez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jedan finds it's way round the side to connect with Martinez's head.

Jedan shoots in for a double leg but Martinez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Geronimo Martinez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leboj Jedan.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Martinez checks a leg kick.
Martinez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jedan.
The crowd cheers as Jedan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martinez doesn't seem phased though.
Jedan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Martinez's hands.

Geronimo Martinez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Martinez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jedan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Martinez had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

It looks like Geronimo Martinez has been cut.
Martinez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Martinez drops his hands for a split second and Jedan immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Martinez face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Jedan follows up with a right hand that knocks Martinez into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
