Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Nurple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darth Nurple has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darth Nurple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Helio Silva!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Nurple which made him look bad.
Nurple misses with a few strikes there.
Nurple tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Nurple saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Darth Nurple has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helio Silva.
Nurple scores with a head kick.

Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nurple working for a triangle but Silva defends it easily.
Nurple is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nurple escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Nurple is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nurple tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nurple's head.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Nurple, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Nurple against the cage but Nurple circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nurple stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva looks gassed!
Nurple lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silva's sensitive parts.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Nurple - that will leave a mark!
The fighters circle, before Nurple throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Silva's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Nurple lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
