Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gary Bitters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Nikitin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bitters kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Maybe. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Bitters counters with a head kick. That will keep Nikitin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Bitters counters with a body kick that stops Nikitin in his tracks momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bitters fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nikitin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bitters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Bitters counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bitters pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Bitters counters with a left and a right that stings Nikitin.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bitters struggles to land a body shot inside as Nikitin controls his hands.
