Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longbird throws a shot from downtown. Rook moves away and avoids it.
Longbird throws a body kick that misses
and Rook counters with an outside leg kick.
We've been informed that Longbird has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Rook is looking to slow Longbird down with leg kicks.
Rook keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Longbird finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rook misses with a straight right.
Longbird looks to land a combination but Rook avoids it well.
Rook looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Longbird is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rook uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Longbird.
Longbird tries to clinch up but Rook circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rook closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rook seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Longbird is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
