Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Patryk Szczerbiec!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Glen Quagmire!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quagmire throws a leg kick which misses Szczerbiec's front leg but catches the back leg as Szczerbiec tries to avoid it.
Quagmire feints and then cracks Szczerbiec's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Szczerbiec down.
Quagmire tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Szczerbiec counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Good leg kick by Quagmire there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Szczerbiec blocks a jab.
Szczerbiec throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Quagmire connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Szczerbiec takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Quagmire moves into range and connects with a jab.
Quagmire checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Quagmire buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Szczerbiec has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Quagmire throws a push kick but Szczerbiec slaps the foot to one side.

Szczerbiec drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Quagmire lands a hook that snaps the head of Szczerbiec backwards.
Quagmire is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Quagmire jerks Szczerbiec's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Szczerbiec drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Quagmire goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Quagmire because Szczerbiec was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
