Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Nazarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion Devlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazarov comes to the cage accompanied by "Fade to Black" by Metallica. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dion Devlin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devlin tries to clinch there but Nazarov circles away.
Nazarov scores with the left hand. Devlin knows he should have avoided that one.
Nazarov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Devlin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nazarov jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sloppy strikes from Nazarov. Those never looked like landing.
Devlin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Nazarov lands a glancing blow to the side of Devlin's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Devlin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Devlin drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nazarov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Devlin circles away quickly and effectively.
Nazarov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Nazarov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nazarov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Devlin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Devlin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

BOOM! Nazarov lands a beautiful left hook that drops Devlin. Devlin tries to recover but Nazarov is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Devlin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vadim Nazarov!
