Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomi Atomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atomi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stratovarius - Abyss Of Your Eyes. Hunt has chosen Comfortably Numb as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hunt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Atomi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
