Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Sorrowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver has chosen Enter Sandman-Metallica as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorrowe throws a right and a left that Oliver avoids nicely.
Sorrowe throws a one two combo.
Sorrowe misses with a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Oliver.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sorrowe enables Oliver to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sorrowe manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Oliver wants to pass the guard but Sorrowe is keeping the position.
Sorrowe wants to stand but Oliver is controlling the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A punch combination from Sorrowe misses.

Oliver shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sorrowe's guard.
Sorrowe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Oliver drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sorrowe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Oliver has Sorrowe in his guard.

Sorrowe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sorrowe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Oliver shoots in for a takedown but Sorrowe shows good takedown defense.

Oliver gets caught flat footed, as Sorrowe shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Sorrowe is posturing up here but Oliver has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Sorrowe tries to roll out but it's too tight and Sorrowe has to tap! Slick submission there by Oliver!

In his post fight interview, Ray Oliver started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
